"My husband and I are both very busy people that were living in two separate states and planning a big (300 ppl) wedding at a unique venue where everything had to be imported, so we knew we'd need help. We also started planning last minute so it was important to find someone who'd be professional but willing to roll with things. We spoke to a couple people before we settled on Jasmine and her team. Jasmine was professional and knowledgable about what we'd need and we used her for Day Of planning and organizing vendors and decorations. She gave us space when we were panicked, but also made sure to stay on top of us about timelines. She walked through our hall and gave ideas for what would work best. She recommended a great florist and even helped us negotiate when things were out of our budget. Day of, everyone was on time and literally available for anything. We were fed, they were there when my husband forgot our rings at the hotel (eek!), when my dad ran out of alcohol and needed someone to make a run, for all the little things inside the hall and making sure it was all ready....literally, they could have and did take care of everything we needed. And that was just the stuff I saw - I can't imagine how much they did behind the scenes. I'm not one to let go of control, and neither is my family, but everyone was incredibly impressed and less stressed! Everyone on the team was friendly, which also helped. She was not the least expensive person I spoke with, but honestly, I'd pay for it all over again. I recommend her for every size wedding, but especially a larger one because you don't want to be stuck taking care of little things on your big day. Meet Jasmine

When people ask me what I do, I say: “I’m a wedding and event planner.”

What I really want to tell them is: “I have the BEST job on the planet.  I get to plan and style one of a kind events for awesome people looking to add more sparkle and soul to their celebrations.”


I love celebrations.  I have always loved celebrations.  When I was a little girl, I begged my mom to let me set the table for every holiday dinner. I’d create place cards and napkin treatments, and make centerpieces from things I found around the house.  In high school, I planned parties and get togethers for my friends — complete with balloons, crepe paper decorations, custom mix tapes and hand written menu cards.  Bringing people together has always been one of my favorite things, and I never outgrew that love.

I launched This Moment Events in 2008 because I truly believe that celebrations are a great way to share your story, and stories are what connect us all.  I’m one planner who will encourage you to find YOUR ideal vision. I am not into cookie cutter events, and I don’t expect you to be either. When it comes to planning weddings, the experience is quite a journey – you grow and you learn a lot about yourself, your family and your fiance.  When you’re knee deep in ribbon and card stock, your future mother in law has seemingly lost her mind, and your brain is swimming with shades of blue (or purple or yellow), sometimes you need help remembering the why of it all.

That’s why I’m here–to help you bring your vision to life, help you leave your stamp on it, and help you stay sane in the process.  Trust me, it’s a wild ride, and it’s going to be over in a flash.  I’m here to handle the details and help YOU get to the soul of your event, because life should be a constant celebration!


These days, when I’m not planning events, you can find me doing yoga, curled up on the couch watching a good movie or reading a good book, or in my kitchen trying out a new recipe.  I’m a mom to my three amazing kids Jacob, Benjamin, and Giada, and a wife to my handsome techie husband, Joe. My family is my greatest treasure.  I believe that everyone can and should have access to the good life on their own terms– we just have to have the courage to go get it!

Five fun facts about me:

1. I've been singing in choruses and choirs since I was in second grade, but singing solo in a concert terrifies me. However, karaoke and I get along quite well!

2. While I adore bubbly, (Champagne, prosecco, brut - I'm all over it - in a flute, of course!), I am just as comfortable drinking a nice cold glass of beer or a margarita (rocks and salt!).

3. I am a geek at heart - and I currently belong to several fandoms - including but not limited to: LoTR, Supernatural, Doctor Who, and Harry Potter.  I have a thing for fantasy and sci-fi, and my hubby and I often have conversations sprinkled heavily with movie quotes.

4. My favorite part of any wedding is when the new couple comes back down the aisle together right after they are pronounced! Something about witnessing the first moments of a brand new family gets me every time!

5. I have a bizarre obsession with office supplies. When I was little, back to school shopping was a joy for me- I loved the new pens and fresh notebooks! I still do!

BONUS Fact: I am 100% into the woo-woo side of life. I read Tarot for myself, practice yoga and meditation, and use affirmations and vision boarding to reach my goals. It's all about the mindset!

How long have you been planning weddings? 

  • I have been planning weddings and events professionally since 2008, and TME became official in 2009.  

Are you certified to plan weddings? 

  • Yes. I hold the designation of Certified Wedding Planner through the Association of Bridal Consultants.  

What services do you offer?  Do you do Day of Coordination?

  • In order to create the kinds of wedding celebrations that we believe all couples deserve, we offer a full range of customizable planning services, including full service planning, design and styling, and wedding day management (also known as Day of or Month of Coordination) through This Moment Events. 

How much do your services cost? 

  • We like to be transparent- so you can find our starting prices here.  A professional wedding planner is a true investment in your day- one that will save you time, energy and ultimately, money. Our goal is to give you an impeccable experience at the best value for your hard earned dollars.  
    As to why we don't list our full pricing on our website- it's mainly because we don't want to give you the wrong information! Your wedding is as individual as your love story - and the service you get from us, and the pricing attached, will be as well. Please inquire about your date and schedule a Meet & Greet with us so that we can learn more about your event and create a customized planning proposal for you.

What if I don’t want a cake/toasts/dancing/etc.

  • This is definitely not a problem for us- this is your wedding, do it your way!  And we’ll help you make it happen, AND help you explain to your family the why behind whatever element is missing. Although they’ll probably never miss it!

Do you plan same sex weddings/civil unions/commitment ceremonies?

  • YES! We firmly believe in marriage equality and nothing would make us happier than to help you make your day fabulous!

Will you work with vendors we’ve already found, or vendors we really want to work with?

  • Absolutely!  We know some of the best wedding pros in New Jersey, so we do provide recommendations if you need them.  Since we have experience with these professionals, we can guarantee the quality of their work. However, if you’ve found the photographer or florist of your dreams, we’ll gladly work with them. Your wedding is a team effort after all, and we play very well with others.

What types of payment do you take, and do you offer payment plans?

  • This Moment Events accepts cash, personal and cashier’s checks, and Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express in studio via Square.  We also accept online payments, and we offer custom payment plans tailored to each client’s needs.

Do you take more than one wedding per day?

  • Nope.  Our services are available two a max of two clients per month.

Can we contact some of your former clients to see what it’s like to work with you?

  • The next step is for you to give us a call at 609-301-0136 or email us at hello@thismomentevents.com to set up your Meet & Greet or Initial Planning Consultation.  Drop us a line and we’ll get back to you by the next business day.  We’ll set a date for us to chat and learn more about each other.  When you set up a Meet & Greet, we’ll discuss your wedding plans and discuss the services that we offer to match your personality, style and budget.  We then schedule your Initial Planning Consultation.  When you attend your Initial Planning Consultation*, we’ll discuss your plans in great detail and help you discover exactly what This Moment Events can accomplish for you. *$125 fee applies for Initial Planning Consultation. This will be deducted from your retainer payment when you choose us for your team.

What should I expect at my Meet & Greet?

  • The Meet & Greet is a quick meeting designed for us to get to know each other better.  We’ll chat either on the phone or via Skype, Google Hangout or FaceTime. Expect to spend 25 to 35 minutes with us discussing your wedding, so we can get a feel for each other's personalities and learn exactly what you need.  Before you have your Meet & Greet, we'll send over a questionnaire to help us understand where you are in the planning process and what you'll be looking for from us. Click here to schedule your Meet & Greet.  

What should I expect at my Initial Planning Consultation?

  • If you are ready to hire a creative partner for your wedding, we highly recommend coming in for an Initial Planning Consultation. This in-depth meeting allows us to construct a game plan for your big day and get down to the nitty gritty.  Plan to spend between 90 minutes and 2 hours with the TME team- either at your place, our place or somewhere in between.  We’ll chat about the two of you as a couple, discuss your wedding plans in detail, and start dreaming together about the vision for your day. You’ll also learn exactly what we offer and how we’ll can help you achieve all of your wedding goals and truly enjoy planning your wedding.  You’ll get a great welcome packet full of planning ideas and tips, we'll chat about our contract and what you can expect as a client of ours. We’ll likely drink coffee and eat a few snacks. That’s it- easy peasy! The fee for this meeting is $125 (payable online prior to our scheduled meeting), and if you choose to have us on your team, we credit the fee towards your retainer payment. We are beyond excited to meet you and look forward to becoming a part of your story!
