SERIES: 5 Causes of Wedding Planning Stress - Part 5

We've made it to the end of our series! Thanks so much for sticking with us. Today we're closing with one of the biggest causes of wedding planning stress that I've run into as a planner. This one, like a few of the others, is self-imposed, and so easy to get stuck in! But the solution is easy as well. Are you guilty of this?

Fifth Major Stress Point: You're trying to go it alone.

Your wedding day is going to be one of the most amazing days of your life. With all the info available out there, it’s very tempting to try and DIY it all. It’s also very easy to bite off more than you can chew. You’ll be front and center all day- it’s awfully hard to do that and be behind the scenes at the same time.

Don’t take any chances that something may fall though the cracks. DELEGATE!!
Hand off certain tasks to capable members of the family, or friends.
Hire a wedding planner, especially for Wedding Day Management. This way, you’ll have someone in your corner to help you stay calm and stress free, keep your budget on track, and to keep tabs on all the little details that will make your day extraordinary. On top of that, a good wedding planner will execute your day to your standards, while you get to kick back, eat, drink, GET MARRIED and enjoy every minute of it!

Once you tackle all five of these stress causing points, you just get to be engaged and enjoy the sweetness of this phase of your life. It really does fly by and before you know it, you'll be looking back on this day with fond memories.
