The TME Experience
Here's a glimpse into our planning process, from the moment you first get in touch with us all the way through your big day. After you get in touch and we confirm that your date is available, it goes a little something like this (hit it!)!
1. MEET & GREET AND PREMIERE PLANNING WORKSHOP
This is our first step after you contact us. We'll schedule your meet & greet, which is a 15-25 minute call where we get to know each other and discuss the basics of your celebration and where you are in your planning process currently. We prefer to do these via Zoom, Google Hangout or FaceTime if possible, but over the phone works as well! If we're a good fit, but you'd like more info from us, we schedule your Premiere Planning Workshop. There is a $125 fee associated with this meeting, but it is credited to your retainer once you become a client. The Premiere Planning Workshop is a 2 hour in person meeting at our offices where we really dig in to your plans and ideas for your wedding- we'll brainstorm together, go over your fab ideas, come up with some amazing plans and share a snack or two!
2. PROPOSAL AND CONTRACT REVIEW
A few days after your Premiere Planning Workshop, you'll receive a link to your formal wedding planning proposal on our client portal. We will set up a time to discuss the proposal and our contract. This meeting will take about 15 minutes. We'll cover exactly what our customized services to you will include, and make any edits to the services that you would like at that time.
3. CONTRACT SIGNING & INITIAL INVESTMENT
After we've reviewed the contract, you can sign it online, and pay your non-refundable retainer to reserve our services. The retainer is usually between 30% and 50% of your total fee, and you'll have a payment plan set up monthly until 30 days before your celebration.
4. KICKOFF MEETING
We schedule your kickoff meeting immediately if you are a Custom Planning client or between 12-16 weeks prior to your day if you are a Wedding Day Management client. This 45 minute meeting gets us off and running with all the info we need to start planning an amazing celebration. We'll also get you access to Aisle Planner, our wedding planning collaboration software, and do a bit of onboarding so you can get used to the system we'll be using together.
5. PLANNING & DESIGN MEETINGS
Depending on the specific services you have chosen, you will have between 3 and a whole bunch of planning/design meetings scheduled. We will provide a detailed breakdown of the schedule with your Planner/Client Expectation Statement. As they progress, we will send a detailed listing of what was discussed and any action items to be taken within 48 hours after each meeting.
6. DESIGN REVEAL
If you have chosen design & styling, we will meet with you and your chosen floral designer to do a reveal of your tabletop, sweetheart table and details about 12 weeks prior to your big day.
7. EIGHT WEEK DETAIL MEETING
This meeting allows us to start nailing down the logistics and details of your big day. We will go through our Wedding Day Coordination Workbook and start lining up all the wedding ducks in neat little rows!
8. FOUR WEEK DETAIL MEETING & FINAL INVESTMENT
Here we will review the details again, update and make any changes necessary, and collect your final payment. We will also provide you with your packing lists for your wedding day items, envelopes for your vendors' final payments, and run through the first draft of your day-of itinerary.
9. FINAL DETAILS MEETING & CEREMONY REHEARSAL
At this meeting we'll do a final run through of all details, your day of itinerary and all vendor assignments. Then we'll run your ceremony rehearsal side by side with venue staff and your officiant, and finally send you off to your rehearsal dinner to enjoy the last night of your engagement!
10. YOUR BIG DAY!
The TME team will arrive at our designated time and make sure that everything runs smoothly throughout your wedding day. From your hair & makeup all the way through the last dance and the farewells, we'll be on hand to ensure a spectacular celebration!
11. THE AFTERMATH...
After your wedding is over, and you're back from your amazing honeymoon, you can expect a phone call or an email from the team asking for honest feedback on how we did. If you're still in the state, and you're feeling it, we can go grab coffee or lunch. Or, we can have a quick call and you can email us your testimonial or review.
